Who is my neighbor?
In Luke, a man comes to Jesus with a question. He wonders what is the greatest commandment. Jesus answers that the entire law comes down to two things: Love God and Love Your Neighbor. The man asks Jesus, "Who is my Neighbor?" Jesus answers with a parable about a man who fell among robbers. He was ignored by a priest and a lawyer, but a Samaritan helped him. The one who showed what it meant to be a neighbor was not one anyone would expect.
Sometimes, we may wonder, "Who is my neighbor?" Yet, the answer is simple: anyone we meet and all who are in need. At Kenmore Presbyterian Church, we have many ways to love our neighbor.
