Kenmore Presbyterian Church stands on the corner of Delaware Avenue and East Hazletine Avenue where it has been since 1894. The founders of Kenmore, Buffalo’s first suburb, also founded Kenmore Presbyterian Church.
     Since that time, our church has played a key role in the lives of many of Kenmore’s residents.


Many people of all faiths remember playing in the gymnasium that once was one of our buildings. Many weekend evenings teenagers came to dances held here. As we move into this new century, we strive to remain an important voice for Christ in our community.

Mission Statement

   Our church serves as a home base where people are nurtured and go forth to serve God both spiritually and physically. We are a family of faith, inspired to be role models and ambassadors to the community at large. Recognizing the responsibility to our neighbors’ needs, it is our duty to open the door to our home base for this purpose. Outreach is a primary task.
   We must demonstrate a willingness to learn in order to teach and spread the Gospel. At the same time, we need to practice stewardship of time and talent as well as finances.
   Finally, inspired by the Holy Spirit, we attempt to discern God’s plan in a world of change.
